Mae Penn’s journey began behind the scenes - producing, managing and supporting the work of others. But after years in the wings, the Rotterdam-based artist felt the pull to make something herself. What started as a quiet, heartbroken experiment soon became Bare Your Teeth, first written in December 2024.
